UNESCO - MAB Biosphere Reserves Directory
The ArabMAB Network was officially launched in Amman Jordan in 1997. The Network is one among many other regional and sub-regional networks operating in partnership with the Man and Biosphere [SE1] (MAB) Programme. The MAB networks aspire to strengthen the MAB programme globally and regionally, through the establishment of biosphere reserves and the implementation of common research agenda, development projects and public awareness initiatives.
